blue-angel-pt2-920-16REALLY!!!!!

This is what the mission of an Airshow is according to Robert Duncan, chairman of the
show’s executive committee.

“Our mission to produce an annual
fundraising event that honors our military, provides a forum for military and civilian flight
demonstrations, and creates an environment for military recruitment was accomplished time and
time again.”

I personally have attended this show several times and wouldn’t miss it for the world. Our Federal Government has their spending so far out of control and can’t  settle on a budget, now this. Fire all of them if they can’t settle a budget. Yea that right replace them all. It is time. Any other job ran if you can’t setup a budget you or I would be fired. How about they take a pay-cut. Sorry My Rant..

The letter below was posted on the Indianapolis Air Show

The 2013 Indianapolis Air Show, scheduled for June 15-16 at Indianapolis

Regional Airport near Mt. Comfort, has been cancelled due to the wide-ranging impact of
sequestration.

The decision to cancel was made by the show’s executive committee this week following thorough
deliberation of numerous factors affected by sequestration.

The US Navy Blue Angels had been scheduled to appear as the show’s jet team headliner. Under
sequestration, US military jet teams are grounded until further notice, and additional military support
for air shows is suspended as well.

“Due to budget uncertainties resulting from the threat of sequestration and its impact on military
participation at our show, all of which are beyond our control, we have been forced to make the very
difficult decision to cancel the 2013 Indianapolis Air Show,” said Robert Duncan, chairman of the
show’s executive committee.

Duncan noted that several other air shows throughout the nation also have cancelled their events for

this year, citing sequestration as the reason.

Looking to the future, Duncan said, “Although the 2013 Indianapolis Air Show will not take place,
we will continue to look at ways to reinvigorate the show in order to produce in a future year an
event worthy of the shows presented over the last 16 years.

“We have been very proud to provide 16 years of wholesome, family entertainment while at the
same time educating our attendees about aviation,” he continued. “Our mission to produce an annual
fundraising event that honors our military, provides a forum for military and civilian flight
demonstrations, and creates an environment for military recruitment was accomplished time and
time again.”

The Indianapolis Air Show is produced by hundreds of volunteers from all walks of life, donating
time and talents to build a successful and highly anticipated annual event. Proceeds from the
fundraiser resulted in more than $1.3 million being donated to local philanthropic organizations such
as the Central Indiana Community Foundation.

“Many generous sponsors and local businesses also contributed to helping us achieve the success
we’ve enjoyed over the years,” Duncan added. “And, of course, our fans always have been
tremendously supportive.”

There is also a F16 Viper East and West Demo Team. These teams make or break the shows. Without them there will be far less Air shows. The Indy Air Show is know as one of the best shows around.

I know this sounds crazy, but if the FAA and the rest of the Federal Government allow unmanned drones in US Airspace(like they already have started) then these may be the tools of the future to enforce government tyranny. So we might be interested in the 22 tips.

These drones have saved many lives for our militry. How will you feel if these are used against you.  I know satellites are used now but these unmanned drones would be a game changer if you see them buzzing over your house or neighborhood. See the Article below.

A STATEMENT FROM RONNIE BARRETT:

Barrett’s Position Regarding the Assault on Liberty
February 20, 2013

Barrett opposes those who are illegally disarming the American public from their efficient arms and creating superior armed elitist government agencies.

Elected state officials of New York, having been sworn to protect our Constitution, have instead committed an offense against it and their citizens by stripping inalienable rights duly protected and guaranteed under the Second Amendment. By their deliberate and sinister actions, these officials now cause their state and local policing agencies to enforce these unconstitutional and illegal so called “laws”.

By current law, Barrett cannot be an accomplice with any lawbreaker, therefore, cannot and will not service or sell to New York government agencies. Barrett also applies this stance to the individual elected official who, as a matter of public record, has voted for or created regulation that violates the constitutional rights of their citizens. This is an expansion of our 2002 ban against the California government due to their second amendment infringements, and shall apply to any future violators.

In the course of world history there have been officials that strip inalienable rights from the people that were given to all by our Creator. Most of these officials inevitably come to trial, some do not.

Intentionally violating constitutional rights by officials that have sworn to uphold them should have severe prison sentences.

With the clear vision of horrible events in history repeating itself, all manufacturers of firearms or related equipment remaining in partnership with such violators should have a respectable fear of being found with the guilty on their day of trial.

During this era of assault on liberty, Barrett will remain steadfast in our efforts to serve law-abiding citizens of all fifty states, and stands together with you in the struggles we will fight and win.

Some may not realize how out of control the government is today. Below is a link to someone that wrote about what the go

Role Of the Government
. <——- What the governments role should be.

The writing below is something someone shared with me via email. After reading this I bet you really didn’t know how bad it really was. Hold on here we go.
THIS IS SURE SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT!!!!
THE ONLY THING WRONG WITH THE GOVERNMENT’S CALCULATION OF AVAILABLE SOCIAL SECURITY IS THEY FORGOT TO FIGURE IN THE PEOPLE WHO DIED BEFORE THEY EVER COLLECTED A SOCIAL SECURITY CHECK!!!
WHERE DID THAT MONEY GO?
Remember, not only did you and I contribute to Social Security but your employer did, too. It totaled 15% of your income before taxes. If you averaged only $30K over your working life, that’s close to $220,500. Read that again. Did you see where the Government paid in one single penny? We are talking about the money you and your employer put in a Government bank to insure you and I that we would have a retirement check from the money we put in, not the Government. Now they are calling the money we put in an entitlement when we reach the age to take it back. If you calculate the future invested value of $4,500 per year (yours & your employer’s contribution) at a simple 5% interest (less than what the govt. pays on the money that it borrows), after 49 years of working you’d have $892,919.98.
If you took out only 3% per year, you’d receive $26,787.60 per year and it would last better than 30 years (until you’re 95 if you retire at age 65) and that’s with no interest paid on that final amount on deposit! If you bought an annuity and it paid 4% per year, you’d have a lifetime income of $2,976.40 per month.
Another thing with me…. I have two deceased husbands who died in their 50’s, (one was 51 and the other one was 59 before one percent of their social security could be drawn. I worked all my life and am drawing 100% on my own social security). Their S.S. money will never have one cent drawn from what they paid into S.S. all their lives.
THE FOLKS IN WASHINGTON HAVE PULLED OFF A BIGGER PONZI SCHEME THAN BERNIE MADOFF EVER DID.
Entitlement my foot, I paid cash for my social security insurance! Just because they borrowed the money for other government spending, doesn’t make my benefits some kind of charity or handout!!
Remember Congressional benefits? — free healthcare, outrageous retirement packages, 67 paid holidays, three weeks paid vacation, unlimited paid sick days. Now that’s welfare, and they have the nerve to call my social security retirement payments entitlements?
We’re “broke” and we can’t help our own Seniors, Veterans, Orphans, or Homeless. Yet in the last few months we have provided aid to Haiti, Chile and Turkey. And now Pakistan……home of bin Laden. Literally, BILLIONS of DOLLARS!!!  And they can’t help our own citizens in New York and New Jersey!  They sure rushed to help Katrina victims in 10 days!!!!!  I guess minorities have more clout!
Our retired seniors living on a ‘fixed S.S. income’ receive no additional federal aid nor do they get any financial breaks, while our government and religious organizations pour hundreds of billions of $$$ and tons of food to foreign countries!
They call Social Security and Medicare an entitlement even though most of us have been paying for it all our working lives, and now, when it’s time for us to collect, the government is running out of money. Why did the government borrow from it in the first place? It was supposed to be in a locked box, not part of the general fund.

Gun dealers report shortages of ammunition

See the link above for the article

9mm FMJ

If you haven’t noticed there are empty shelves at all Gun Stores and all the big retailers that carry firearms and ammunition. Sure you will see what looks like a bit of inventory but most is always Shotgun target loads and limited rifle rounds.

Even shopping online gets interesting when you see this listed at the top of every page in the ammo section.

PLEASE NOTE: Our apologies, but due to extremely high demand, some of our suppliers are unable to provide us with reliable shipping dates for some of the backordered items below. As a result, shipment of these items could be delayed beyond the stated availability date. In addition, because some suppliers have indicated they may change our costs without notice, our prices on some backordered products may be subject to change. We remain dedicated to providing you with the highest quality products available at the lowest prices anywhere.

I also personally shop at about 5 local Gun shops and they all have very limited supplies as well.  If you want just the personal protection ammo I did find some of that has started to trickle in to the small shops.  I visit my local stores 1 time per week and try to pickup a box of 50 9mm FMJ shells for training and general practice. Today I was able to get 100 9mm FMJ but I bought all they had in stock. I haven’t narrowed down all the ammo types that are had to find but it seems to me FMJ or general purpose ammo for all calibers except .25 auto and .38 are all in short supply. I have also heard that .45 caliber is able to be ordered but is somewhat delayed and limited. I am by no means a gun expert I am only sharing what I know, so forgive me if any of my knowledge of ammunition is lacking in this post.  I did visit the Indianapolis Gun Show and there was plenty of ammo to be purchased but there we no deals to be had. The 2nd problem is ammo is going up in price either due to demand or the fact retailers know they can get more $$$$. My local Dealers here have been about $5 higher on some ammo  so its not terrible, but some cause for alarm in this new economy we are in today.

I have seen little no evidence locally of cleaning supplies and gun parts becoming hard to find (Except AR15 Parts Mainly Lowers) but I do not shop alot for those items either.   I do know for a fact that Walmart is limiting boxes of ammunition to 3 boxes per customer. They said they are getting 1 truck a week but once it came in the first person bought a case or everything they had, so they implemented the limit. Another Store told me they had 9mm ammo but I could only buy a box if I bought a new gun that used it. They said who wants to buy a gun and not be able to buy ammo. I understand that.

My current plan is to buy a box of 50 every few weeks to practice at the range and maybe pickup some good hollow-points once and awhile to keep put back to use when I carry. I also can’t forget to get my Mosin Nagant some 7.62 x 54r surplus ammo.  Boy is that a fun gun to shoot. Great history behind that gun, I did see the local store has ammo for it at $89 for a spam can containing 440 rounds.

One last thought,  some will say why not reload? Well after talking to our local reloading supplier and him telling us and I quote,” I am almost sold out of everything”. So our current situation is effecting people who need reloading supplies as well.

Please share your thoughts on this situation with me, maybe everyone else is seeing something different in their area.

Thanks for reading.
